About Bree
Terra Lumen is the atelier of Bree Raitz, an American gemstone curator. At the end of 2025, Bree moved to Amsterdam, and in January 2026 she opened Terra Lumen, bringing her love and knowledge of stones to a more intimate setting that serves the European market. She seeks out rare and fine stones, stunning pieces that seldom reach the open market, and sees each one to the collector to whom it belongs. Every piece passes through her hands: she finds it, studies it, and expertly matches the stone to the person.
Stones with a message
Each stone I offer is singular, chosen for its quality and for what it carries.
It comes with a channeled message I have written for it, printed on card, wrapped in vellum and sealed with the embossed Terra Lumen mark.
Consultations
Crystal and gemstone curation for interiors, hotels, spas and retreats: choosing and placing crystals, geodes, gemstones and natural stones for the spaces people live, work and rest in. Based in Amsterdam, working across the Netherlands.
For homes, workplaces and gifts
The right stone changes a room. I advise private clients on choosing and placing stones for the spaces they live and work in, and on a piece as a gift for someone who matters. Each engagement begins with a conversation and ends with stones chosen for them and no one else. I work on a consulting fee; where stones are needed, I provide them or shop alongside the client with trusted vendors, from whom they buy directly. In a renovation, the work often extends to the stone of the house itself: countertops for the kitchen, baths and other spaces.
For hotels, spas and retreats
For a small number of hotels, spas, retreat centres and hotel boutiques across the Netherlands, I curate stone selections for a particular purpose: a suite, a treatment room, a seasonal stay, a guest gift. I bring a considered selection in person, you choose, and the pieces are yours. Each project is singular and undertaken by arrangement.
